The Greatest Gift!

'Tis the season for the giving and recieving of gifts. As Christmas morning approaches most of us anxiously wait for the gifts we are going to get and to see the excitement of our loved ones as they open the gifts we got for them.
Think back to the absolute best gift you ever received. How did you feel? If you are anything like me, I'll bet you went around telling everybody who would listen (and maybe a few who didn't) what you got for Christmas. Am I right? Be honest.
How do you think the person that gave you that gift felt when they found out you were going around telling everybody what they gave you?
(You didn't know this was going to be a test, did you? Alright test is over, no more questions. Well maybe just one more at the end.)

Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.
James 1:17
That includes all the skills, talents and special abilities you have.

And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16
...but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23b

Could there ever be a better gift?

So, there is only one thing left to do; tell everyone you meet about the awesome gift that our Father in heaven has given us, and them!

May our Lord and Savior continue to bless you and your family.

The Great Commission

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" Matthew 28:19-20

While the Great Commission can seem overwhelming and even scary, remember...
The Will of God never takes you to where
the Grace of God will not protect you.
May our Lord continue to Bless you and your family
